God's word is the ultimate word
In any dialect or sign,
He spoke us into existence
Now poetic prose is mine.
Made in His image and likeness
A reason to respect all men,
From the moment you were born
Until this present age does end.
Abundant blessings I can surely say
And intelligence a gift,
But stupid men have minds confined
They are blind and just adrift.
They seek no greater purpose
And are content as drunks might be,
To live this life not seeking
Or question their own eternity.
But I for one a wiser man
Forced to endure my sin and pain,
He took me through the desert
Where went forth His holy name.
Where He taught me about humility
Like Mariam for seven years,
Exact dates are in my bible
To document my fears.
But then I was set free again
Just as His word was marked as said,
In Jeremiah twenty nine eleven
"I Have plans for you instead."
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,' declares the Lord, 'and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,' declares the Lord, 'and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.'
